Lurie College Innovations Podcast: Episode 2

In this episode, host Mark Felton sits down with Department of Teacher Education faculty members Luis Poza and Eduardo Muñoz-Muñoz, who are leading our new bilingual authorization pathway, Bilingüismo y Justicia.  They are taking action to respond to the evolving needs in K-12 districts throughout California by preparing future teachers to serve in dual immersion and bilingual settings.  We discuss questions such as:
“What would it look like to leverage the resources of multilingual students in schools rather than silence them?”
“How do we prepare teachers to be change makers in bilingual classrooms?”
