Meet the Lurie College Faculty | Roxana Marachi

Roxana Marachi is an Associate Professor of Education at San José State University where she teaches courses in Educational Psychology and Educational Leadership.  Dr. Marachi’s publications have focused on school climate, learning environments, and the evaluation of school violence prevention programs.  Her current interests are focused on strategies for the prevention of data harms and on bridging research-to-practice gaps in the integration of emerging technologies in education.  Marachi serves as Education Chair of the California State NAACP and is actively involved in local, state, and national efforts to strengthen and protect public education.
